I would not call myself a music nerd. I do not have a deep understanding of the technical art or the complex theory behind the tracks I love.
But let’s be real:
I cannot live without music.

For a long time, I was the kind of person who stayed in a comfort zone, keeping the same few albums on repeat. Lately, I have realized that I want more. I am looking for something new that actually hits. This shift toward constant music discovery is part of growing up, and I am ready to turn this search into a real project.

Finding the Best New Bands

If I had to pick one genre to live in, it would definitely be Metalcore. I know the experts love to argue about the exact definitions and sub-genres, but for me, it is simple. If there is a „Blegh“ in the track, I am probably going to like it.

However, I am not a gatekeeper. I just like good music, period. My rotation is a mix of everything: Taylor Swift, Jelly Roll, Bring Me the Horizon, Rise Against, and Knocked Loose etc. If the music is solid, it gets a spot in my ears. I have made it a personal quest to find cool, fresh sounds, and I want to show people what I have found. That is why I am launching a dedicated category here on the site.

Moving Beyond the Second Brain

I spend a lot of time researching the people behind the songs I enjoy. Usually, that information just sits in my Second Brain for my own reference.
I realized that is a waste. I want to share that deep dive with you. By writing about the bands and artists I discover, I give myself a reason to keep looking. I do not want to be the guy who finds one new song a year and calls it a day. I want to stay curious.

My goal is to be the person you text when you need something fresh for your rotation. I want to provide those little nuggets of new music that you probably never would have found on your own.

A Curated Spotify Playlist That Actually Hits

Music is always playing in my world. But honestly, I am getting a bit bored with my old, predictable background noise. I still like the songs, but I need variety. Since the Spotify Smart Shuffle is still pretty terrible, I am taking matters into my own hands.
